This past Saturday, I got to help out with the the third annual Help-Portrait, an amazing international project to help give portraits to those in need. The basic idea is to find people who normally couldn't afford to have their portrait taken, make the photo, print it for them and give it to them for free. In cities around the world, photographers and volunteers donated their time, equipment and talent to make this happen. I had an amazing time meeting both great families and photographers.
At the end of the day, the several Philadelphia locations made 595 photos, while the worldwide count was more than 101,000. Photographer Greg Cazillo was awesome enough to make the video above of our location with a combination of time-lapse photography and video from his D3s. Definitely worth a look to see some of the action from the day. I'll be sure to share some of my photos from the day soon.
