Taking Help-Portrait to the Final Frontier

I've mentioned my experience with Help-Portrait before, but Sasha Leahovcenco has taken it to a new level. Two years ago, the entertainment and wedding photographer took a trip to Chukotka, a remote, autonomous region in the far northeast of the Russian tundra. While there, he made portraits of the local people, many of which had never had their picture taken before. Now Leahovcenco wants to go back, covering 1,000 miles in three weeks. You can read more about plans and donate to the trip on his Kickstarter page. With 10 days left to go on the campaign, Leahovcenco needs $4,400 to reach his goal.
